Nike SB pays tribute to American rock band Dinosaur Jr. for the second time, this time on the newly released Zoom Omar Salazar. The sneaker features a glittery synthetic upper, which complements the outer space theme developed for the Flywire-infused design. The band's previous collaboration with Nike SB, the Dinosaur Jr. Dunk High SB, was highly sought after by sneaker collectors in 2007. In 2010, Dinosaur Jr. returned to collaborate with Nike SB on a special colorway of the Zoom Omar Salazar, inspired by the band's 2009 album "Farm" and its unique brand of distortion-infused rock music that helped launch the alternative music fervor of the 1990s. The shoe features a deep blue upper with ample glitter and a glossy varnish for maximum light refraction, along with a green piping, embroidered Dinosaur Jr. logo, laces, and outsole, making it a standout Quick Strike edition.
