The Nike Dunk SB November Rain draws inspiration from Guns N’ Roses’ eponymous song, the longest track ever recorded by the band at 8 minutes 57 seconds. The upper is a fusion of premium leathers and suedes in black, white, and varsity crimson. Released in November 2007 in Nike SB shops, the Dunk Mid was part of the 2007 Nike SB Music series and pays tribute to Guns n Roses' last top ten song. The sneakers feature elements from the music video, including a rose and a woman in a casket on the insoles. November Rain is notable for being the longest Top 10 hit in history and marked the end of Guns n’ Roses' string of top ten hits. Lead guitarist Slash's solo in the song is also one of the greatest of all time. The Dunk Mid boasts a black/gray/red upper and unique detailing on the tongue, setting it apart from other sneakers.
