A Converse Japan Addict line and mastermind JAPAN collaboration. For those unaware, Converse Japan very limited Addict line is a premium Converse series as high-end as anything offered by other converse sneaker operations. Addicts are usually sold only twice a year in highly limited drops! This collaboration’s silhouette is modelled after the converse Chuck Taylors from the ’60s, offering a nuanced vintage feel with all the technical bells and whistles of a modern shoe. Mastermind JAPAN’s skull and bones logo is embroidered at the top of the silhouette over a sleek black canvas tongue that’s coupled with premium laces. Details like silver-toned spikes at the top eyelets, contrasting white top-stitching around the shoe’s edges and Mastermind branding at the rubber toecap are but a few accents to the black uppers. A rubber skull-and-cross bones motif is placed at the lateral side of the midsole, while a cushioned EVA cup insole and tough Vibram sole round off the shoe’s vivid design.
